While adventure elopements have stolen my heart, I still love photographing more traditional weddings! Because I totally understand that eloping is just not for everyone. You can count on me to document your most beautiful wedding day moments so that you can look back on them forever.
I'm not the type of photographer who will just show up, takes some photos, & leave. I'll help in any way that I can! From vendor suggestions, to working with your planner on a timeline, & helping you choose which photos to put in your heirloom album. I'm here for it all.

Hey, I'm Kirsten! When I'm not photographing couples in love, you'll find me cuddled up on the couch with my two adorable pups, watering my 30+ house plants, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, trying out a new brewery with my partner & our friends, or spending time on pinterest dreaming up ideas for the cute little a-frame house in the forest I want to have some day.

About me
I will help with any and all details for your wedding that I can. You'll receive a 60+ page wedding planning guide that is full of information to help plan & ensure your day is setup to make for the most beautiful photos. I'll also help with finding trustworthy vendors & work with your wedding planner to make a timeline to keep us on track on the big day.
When the day finally arrives, you'll feel relaxed knowing that your photos will come out beautiful.

Your wedding day only happens once & a photo I may not like could be your absolute favorite. That is why the only photos I do not deliver are unintentionally blurry/out of focus, photos where someone blinked, or photos that are almost exactly the same as another. You'll receive all the best, even the goofy outtakes so you can relive the entire story of your wedding day.

With me, you’re hiring a photographer who has a BFA in fine art photography & years of photography experience. Every moment of your day will be photographed with care and attention to detail. Whether it's working with different lighting situations or adapting to changes on the fly, I'm equipped to handle anything.
Professional experience
Don't worry, your wedding won't be an all day photoshoot. I like to keep things candid, & try not to overly pose you. That way you can forget there’s even a camera there & fully enjoy your day.

WHAT TO EXPECT
I will edit out anything that would go away within a few days (blemishes, small bruises, etc.) I do NOT manipulate bodies, change clothing colors, get rid of tummies etc. You’re beautiful the way you are. 🤍
I am based in Asheville NC. My wedding packages all include my travel. No hidden fees. No worrying about booking accommodations for me. I've got it covered. & If your location is on my bucket list you'll receive a discounted rate.
I try to stick with photographing weddings that are about 100 or less guests. I do take on a limited number of larger weddings per year as well.
I promise you that every couple you see on this website felt exactly the same! I like to get to know my couples better so that it’s less weird when we finally meet. I have plenty of prompts to get y’all laughing, cuddling & feeling comfortable in no time.
