Stephanie & Mohannad’s Craggy Pinnacle Engagement Portraits were the perfect way to celebrate their love for each other & their love for Asheville. Craggy Pinnacle makes for the most beautiful backdrop to your Asheville Engagement Photos.
Stephanie & Mohannad met each other in college and have been dating for over 6 years. They have a tradition to visit Asheville every fall & enjoy hiking the scenic trails & then exploring downtown after their daytime adventures.

Craggy Pinnacle is known for the beautiful 360 degree view from the top. Located along the Blue Ridge Parkway, it’s a spectacular location to visit mid to late spring through autumn. The hike to the top is not very long but it is steep, so make sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes. Stephanie & Mohannad & I watched as the sun started to set during their Asheville Engagement Portraits. The clouds created the most perfect lighting for their Craggy Pinnacle photoshoot.
CRAGGY PINNACLE ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Engagement sessions are the perfect time to have some fun and get used to being in front of a camera before your wedding day. It’s a time to let your guards down & make some memories you’ll want to remember forever – which is what Stephanie & Mohannad did! Despite having a small audience of strangers for their photoshoot, they were able to relax & enjoy each other’s company on top of the mountain. They laughed & swayed & had a fun time at the Pinnacle. Stephanie & Mohannad’s engagement session was beautiful & and an evening they’ll remember forever. It was such an honor to be their Asheville Engagement Photographer.
HOW TO PLAN YOUR ASHEVILLE ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Like most adventure sessions, it’s best to plan your Craggy Pinnacle session in advance and to have a backup rain date. This is because the weather is extremely unpredictable in the mountains of Western North Carolina. The Craggys are within the boundaries of the Blue Ridge Parkway, which means permits are only required for wedding ceremonies. As your Asheville Engagement Photographer, I’m more than happy to help you find the perfect spot along the parkway for your photoshoot!
