The 35+ Best Wedding Venues in Asheville
Trying to find your dream Asheville wedding venue?
I’ve put together a list of the best wedding venues within 2 and a half hours of the city, ranging from traditional southern barns and industrial warehouses to beautiful mountaintops.
Whether you’re looking for a small intimate setting or a large space to party with your entire family, Asheville & Western North Carolina has every type of venue you could imagine!
I’ve personally photographed at many of these venues, so I can definitely give you the pros & cons of each one.
I’m always looking to add to this list, so feel free to comment any more venues that you think should be here!

What is the average cost of a wedding venue in Asheville?
The average cost of a wedding venue in Asheville, NC is about $7000. While this does sound like a lot of money, some venues do include tables, chairs, dinnerware, etc. Always make sure to ask the venue exactly what they include in their rentals & if anything is an additional cost (such as a tent setup, fire pits, stand up heaters, etc.)
When Is the best time of year to get married in Asheville?
I’m definitely biased but I would have to say autumn! It’s the busiest season for weddings for a reason! The colors are stunning & the weather is usually dry & mild. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful spring wedding! I would avoid the months of Dec-March as well as July & August. It’s too cold in the winter and early spring so your photos will mostly be indoors and in the heat of the summer it’s too hot to go outside.

15. old edwards
If you want upscale luxury, then Old Edwards is the perfect venue for you! Old Edwards offers multiple options for your ceremony & reception. They also have a house for getting ready as well as an Inn where you can get ready. At the Inn they have a speakeasy type bar that’s a fun place to take some getting ready photos. This is by far one of my favorite Asheville wedding venues!
16. point lookout vineyards
If you love wine & want to get married with a view, Point Lookout Vineyards is the venue for you. They offer a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, a large covered pavilion for your reception, & 2 getting ready areas.
408 APPLEOLA RD, HENDERSONVILLE, NC
17. highland brewing
It wouldn’t be Asheville if there weren’t venue options that include breweries! Highland Brewing has a beautiful rooftop ceremony area & indoor reception area. They also have a smaller room for smaller weddings & receptions. Their outdoor wooded disc golf course is a great spot to take portraits.
12 Old Charlotte Highway, Suite 200
18. brown mountain beach
Brown Mountain Beach is a pretty spot that features a creek with a sandy beach area for your ceremony. UPDATE: The location this photo was taken was called Lady Luck Gardens. Unfortunately they are no longer taking on weddings. They do still rent their cabin out and may allow photography for elopements.
A great alternative would be the Never Ending Flower Farm.
